Terms and Conditions for Smart Door Locks

Welcome to Candle Electric Solutions Private Limited (“Candle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of smart door locks (“Product” or “Products”) sold through our official online store.
By placing an order on our website, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your purchase.
1. Eligibility
- There is no age limit to purchase from our online store.
- By purchasing, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
2. Product Purchase
- All purchases must be made through Candle’s official online store.
- Full payment is required at the time of order.
- Prices are listed in INR and inclusive of applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated.
- Candle reserves the right to cancel any order due to pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity.
3. Installation
- Our smart door locks are sold without any free installation service.
- The buyer is solely responsible for installation, either through self-installation or by hiring a professional.
- In some exceptional cases , customer can request to avail the paid installation service from Candle, but it is solely vested to Candle whether to provide the service or not.
- Candle is not responsible for any damages or functional issues arising from improper installation.
4. Warranty Policy
- The Product is covered by a One year limited warranty for manufacturing defects from the date of delivery.
The warranty does NOT cover:
- Defects caused by improper handling, installation, or maintenance.
- Physical damage, liquid damage, or unauthorized modifications.
- Normal wear and tear or battery depletion.
- To raise a warranty claim, the buyer must provide a valid invoice and supporting evidence (e.g., photos or videos of the defect).
- Buyer should register for warranty in the Google Form provided in the website or with order confirmation email.
5. No Refund or Return Policy

All sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be accepted for any reason other than:
- Product received in damaged condition (reported within 24 hours of delivery with proof), you can request for replacement of the lock.
- Incorrect product delivered (must be unopened and reported within 24 hours), you can request for replacement of lock.
- For eligible issues, please contact our customer support team immediately.
6. Limitation of Liability
- Candle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of the Product.
- Our maximum liability is limited to the actual price paid for the Product.
7. Customer Responsibility
- Customers are responsible for ensuring the compatibility of the lock with their door before purchase.
- You must keep your smart lock access credentials (e.g., PIN, app access, fingerprints) confidential and secure.
8. Intellectual Property
- All content, branding, logos, and intellectual property on the website and associated with the Product are owned by Candle Electric Solutions Private Limited.
- You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part without written permission.
9. Privacy Policy
- All customer information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- We do not share personal data with third parties except to process your order or as required by law.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
- Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Insert City, e.g., Bengaluru].
11. Amendments
- Candle reserves the right to change or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website and purchases after changes implies acceptance.
12. Required Documents in case of any replace request
- Unboxing video of the product with clear vision of courier tracking number.
- Copy of the order details or invoices received through registered email id.
- Any Govt. valid ID proof for address verification(Preferably Aadhaar, Driving License, Passport or Voters ID).
